a hand forged Japanese style hammer made from and old fly press tool at 5" long and 2 1/2" wide
weighs approximately 3LBS. hardened in old sump oil..
very good "donkey" hammer with good balance although in theory it shouldn't be, being so front heavy...
about 8 hours work in total
EDIT(3/12/14): has now been ruined by a first year(newbie) after i lent it to him, he then left if close to the fire over lunch (hour and a half) to the point it burnt the handle out and it was starting to go a dull red
and then the dumb shit quenched it in water, causing it to crack and shatter... i am not best pleased.
