A common face in the black market, Derrek smuggles and sells illegal arms and other good to people of the cities. While his biggest market is the weapons he keeps up more avidly on the medications that are distributed to the slums and poor sections of the city, from light pain killers to antibiotics. He is studying (via an internship at a clinic) how to make homemade antibiotics so that he can pull out of the illegal trade and focus on bringing the lowest parts of the city up and keeping them healthy.
