When I was getting out of my art slump, I decided to give painting another go. The fake vector things I've done are very nice, but it was great to paint again.

Here's Kyanite, one of my gem characters (YES I'M STEVEN UNIVERSE TRASH I CAN'T HELP IT)

I dunno why she's crying or what happened, I just wanted to draw her all sad. And angry. Sangry? Angsad? Angsty?

    I always felt like... .the transition of using warm colors for the shadows instead of cool ones never worked very well but it looks really good here. Perhaps it's just me, lol.

      I love doing weird color experiments like that, man. If you look in real life, if the lighting is cool, the shadows are warm, yo. Thank you though! You should try some weird experiments some time. Break out of your comfort zone!
