During their travels Arc and his faithful sidekick Byzil visit tons fascinating places and see many breathtaking sights. But every once in a while they stumble upon just the right place at just the right time. And in those moments when the entire world just seems to stop; when the air is still and only the sound of their breathing breaks the silent serenity; it is then that they gaze upon each other and realize what a truly special friendship they share.

This is the second in a pair of commissions from the exceptionally kind Rhoa-Ki-Igmu, and truly a remarkable showcase of artistic skill and talent if ever there was one. Really, though, I simply adore how this image turned out. Ki has a real knack for capturing Byzil and Arc perfectly, and the backdrop is, as always, jaw-droppingly stunning. There’s a reason why I’ve commissioned this amazing artist a third time, and if you’re a dragon who hasn’t then you’re truly missing out. Thank you so much, Ki! :D
