It was too late now. The room was empty, save for that... thing looming over the counter. All the food, all the customers, gone. Churning. Squirming. Making that immense, glistening gut bounce and slosh atop the creaking, cracking counter. That thing moved faster than anything that size should be able to. Now it was just sitting there, tendrils and tongue slowly reaching beyond the counter. As it's massive belly groaned with the meal it'd made of the other customers, that rumbling voice filled the room with one simple command.
