How I Like My Dragons

Zummeng

The idea of this wasn't that I dislike drawing other kinds of dragons, I'm just very fond of my silly asshole dragon, Larsel :D
I've always loved dinosaurs and dragons, and I've always wanted my own dragon characters. (Or at the very least, lizard-like characters who can breathe fire.) I wanted them to be special to me, and when I design a character, I focus on what I want rather than sticking to a certain genre or seeing what other people's characters are like.
I don't draw my dragons very often, because I have dozens of other characters, and I can't devote the same amount of time to all of them. (And I don't have a proper story for them yet either...) But I'm hoping to be able to introduce all of my characters in the future. Maybe I have drawn my dragons the least so far, so I’m making progress with this post too :)

mine are a mix of 2 and 4 but entirely scifi themed, none of that fantasy magical nonsense here. fire breath is actually fire spit that explodes when it meets the air, etc etc. I love science, and I love dragons. Sooooo why not both?

Mine are none of these. They have treasures, yes, gifts exchanged with each other during courting. So, they don't journey after treasure for themselves, but find, and even make things, to give to a potential mate. They never lay on or sleep over these gifts, just tuck them away in a safe place. For safekeeping (except for the food gifts... those get eaten). And definitely not #3! Though females do mature earlier than males, and tend to flirt, while the males are still confused, and blissfully unaware. And though some individuals can be full of themselves, none of them are jerks. Though their curiosity towards new things, and no sense of privacy or respect of space, can lead to awkward moments.

Hopefully you do get to tell your stories about dragons. I'm looking forward to future stories!
