artist note:
there seems to be something very strange and creepy about this image. Perhaps it is the way that it is portrayed on my lookup. with the title name and the cropping of the words.
But I think there's something more.
The grass and flowers in the background.
I seem to remember something similar to it. Some artwork I saw on old religious postcards and stickers. I think I remember them being bunny rabbits or some cute fauna saying things like "jesus loves you" or "praise the lord".
The juxtaposition of that and the image I made is very eerie to me. This may be one of my more favourite pieces for that reason.
