I was going for Junji Ito, but I like that too. I'm going to have to check out more of that guy's stuff. I think he used to do things for Dragon magazine.

Yeah, I could see some Ito in this. He's very very aware of body horror motifs, and has a scratchier style than Eros Otus does. Otus likes to use very clean, bold, and sharp lines usually, but the 'amalgamation of parts' vibe here is definitely Otus.
