This is absolutely spectacular, I love how its framed!! And that's ALL ballpoint ? Very impressive! ;D

  Yes, it is completely ballpoint pen! I've found that with some brands, you can take a stiff brush and some seltzer water and turn the marks into something akin to watercolor. Most of the delicate shading was first blocked out by using crosshatching, then blurred with this method.

    Oh wow I never knew you could do stuff like that with ballpoint :O, I'll have to try my hand at it sometime, that sounds really fun! I love watercolor, so this technique would be naturally really enjoyable! :D
