I love the simple fact she´s resting her feet. This scene is so well done and full of detail. I love it.

Ohmygod I love so much about this. I agree with Peritian, just the action of resting her feet, the everyday realism of it is wonderful, but I also love her big smile to show that they're so from a wonderful night of walking and dancing. Plus her pose is just really realistic. This is beautiful.

the color really sells it, makes the composition work. Good sense of depth too. Love her expression. Well done!

I've already said how much I love this, but it bears repeating. Very wonderful, thank you for your work on this!

High Heels. They're super evil things that like to destroy feet and ankles. I hear more complaints about high heels then complements, but they're always worn for form rather then function. I love women that wear heals, but at the same time I'm like, "Oh mur gurd. Let me rub your poor tortured feetsees!" xD

I like to see you drawing stuff you're having fun with! It looks really good and I love all the detailed line-work! =D

Haha, high heels are horrible horrible things, but they're SO pretty. I think my current favorites are kitten-heels, because they're just so cute aaghh but they still hurt the same after a while of wearing them. Best part of a fancy night is taking your footwear off, no question!

And thank you :D I really did enjoy this one!

I can tell you enjoyed it just by looking at it! I'm glad to see you really enjoying your work after making your focus switch! =D

Ugh heels! I don't blame her, I'd probably do the same XD (and most likely sit there cause heels love to try and kill mah face =T )

I really love her expression though <3 and the Background is wonderful as well!

Heels are pretty punishing haha! But pretty.

      Thank you very much!

        That they are!
        And you're welcome!

I think it's a nice picture of a dance ball. It also gives an interesting point of view of what dancing is like with high heels.

    • Link

It huuuurts xD At every event I've ever been dancing in heels, the shoes have come off at some point in the night and I've just been dancing barefoot. But I guess that's part of the charm right? :)

      Thank you! <3

You did a really good job of depicting the scene. Molly looks absolutely gorgeous here! <3

    • Link

Thank you so much! :D (Hard for this character not to look gorgeous, IMHO!)

      • Link

(I agree, I absolutely love all the artists' depictions of the character.)

Peritan is 100% correct. The simplicity here, matched with your stunning skill at pulling off such a mundane, every-day action is... well, it's gorgeous. I love the colors, they all go very well together.

I love the color palette (is that the right term?) on this. Nothing is too bright, nor does any of it jump out and attack one's eyes. The soft, gentle background, and the lighting totally make this for me! [/Longwinded!]
