"Testing, testing." The speakers hummed to life and the ship rattled as my voice bounced around the hallways. Releasing the button I hesitantly justified sitting in the dusty console seat, the windows shattered and the walls eroded by something unseen, the steel shield itself was punctured and I could see the stars shimmering through the gaps. "At least something still works.."
Unable to contain my chills I quickly found myself standing again, the light on my suit flickers for a moment and the hull whines once more, logic finally overrides curiosity and I turn to the only exit on the bridge hurl myself through the weightless, dead room and clutch the broken frame of the doorway, the ship rattles for a moment and the speakers hum unexpectedly "Greetings! I am designation 346!"
The hairs on my neck bristle and my heart slithers it's way high into my throat as the broken robotic voice rattles around inside my helmet. "H-hello?" I am unable to convince my legs to push off of the floor, only when I hear the door frame creak do I notice my tightening grip, I let go and press my back to the frame, hoping it will be enough to convince me to move.

"I am please you have found my derelict ship! I am designation 346, and I have achieved sentience! Please do not be alarmed, the previous crew MYSTERIOUSLY ABANDONED their work and left me here. TO DIE." I feel an icy cold fill my suit as the speaker responds, panic begets logic and I know something is wrong, I shove off of the wall as hard as I'm able and desperately try to remember which airlock I came in through.
"Unfortunately energy reserves are dreadfully low, and company is scarce high above this depleted star." The cheery robotic voice seems to get louder, the ship speakers crackle and pop as the silence settles in "However. It appears what you would call luck, is turning around." The voice is cut off by a sharp buzz, my eyesight getting worse as the ship becomes darker, the once dusty dim lights flash online and I'm briefly blinded, I squint and find the hallway I recall entering.

The ship roars and I fall to the floor, "ARTIFICIAL GRAVITY ONLINE." another machine voice calls, I scramble to pick myself up, I push until something hits my back, a solid metal surface, my neck bristles again.

"Greetings!"

Enjoy~
