"The Seven eyes of death pierce through all lies, can see across any distance, they see every sin, every triumph, every misdeed, every inaction and action you take. Death weighs them upon the scales and measures your very soul, for Death cares not for riches nor treasures, not land nor pleasure. No, nothing but your soul will satisfy this old reaper, because balance is his charge.
But fear not children, it is possible to gain the favor of Death, for if you manage to turn Death's gaze upon you, and it is not your time to die, it is very likely that at that time, Death is on your side.
To be a champion under Death is no small feat, and carries a heavy burden. Being a Patron of this Deity is like no other, being Deaths champion is akin to nothing else. He will not command you to Crusade nor spread word about him, for every soul comes before him anyways. All know of their mortal demise, and those Liches and Soul-filled undead are the fools who think they can postpone his icy cold grip are deluding themselves, and perverting Death's Cycle.
So listen closely, and listen hard, if Death whispers within your ear, and you feel his hand upon your shoulder, but not the scythe at your soul, then you have what few other beings have had, and it is expected of you to obey. For the worst that can happen if you fail, is that you will be sent to him after you are killed, and he can send you right back."
