For the past few days, I've been writing up a backstory for the Dralyx, which is the species I created for my fursona (though I prefer the term 'avatar'). While developing the backstory, I created a few different subspecies, and I decided to draw one of them.

Depicted is a female of the subterranean Shalkad subspecies, which have black fur along with brightly-colored spots that glow in the dark, depending on their emotional state. The one in this picture is a "Life-Shaper", an artist or architect who uses magic to transmute plans and fungi for purposes of decoration or construction.

EDIT: A few people have asked me if this character had a name. Her name is Glass, and I've actually had the concept for this character for some time, though it's the first time I've put her on a visual medium.
