the Great Leonopteryx is one of my favorite creatures from the movie Avatar. they are four winged beasts that are the lion of the skies. they are really huge and sacred to the Nav'i. their name for the beast is 'Toruk' in which means Last Shadow. i love Avatar and the creatures always inspire me to create. i actually have a figure of the Leonopteryx, his name is Leo.
