It was a hard fight but it was over. The bounty on his head wasn't worth his crimes or the costs it took to track and bring his ass down but small towns can never afford much. It's how the worst of them flourish honestly. I'd have passed it over myself if it hadn't specifically wanted him dead. Caught my eye long enough to get me reading what he'd done. I've have done this for free.

Normally, I kill only in self defense. I honor the lives I cut short. I reflect on the lost potential. I respect the gravity of death. But I will never, ever, regret or apologize for ending this it way I did.

Some opponents you fight. Some you kill. And some you take by the throat, run your sword across their mother fucking neck, and watch the life drain out of their eyes.

The second one came in sooner than I thought. =)
