If these two occupied the same universe I don't think anyone would be safe from their hijinks. Inigo from On Borrowed Time and Marie from Stars Shine Bright getting some sweets on Malachis dime. Inigo is just the kind of influence Marie needs for sure though.

I did tell Woo way back when that I'd draw him next, and honestly this is what he gets for making me take two months to finish it. I first sketched this the first week of October. It went through so many revisions including a Delibird I replaced with Twig after reading Sun in Shadow and Gamma just kinda showed up one day because I wanted to do that fab hair.

I got stuck for about a month before realizing I was overcomplicating the hell out of the scene with foliage and painting in early revisions that I dropped all of to finish it. Also that trying to draw buildings in focus is a nightmare. After throwing so much out if I make a new layer its up to #177 in this file. Also decided I needed to stalk stream chat all of November to find out the respective artists favorite candies to give their characters. And Gamma gets strawberry ice cream to chomp on, because of course she does. Sweet tarts are rad as hell.

This was mostly done in Woos streams in October, I just had to willpower my way to finishing it the last two days.

I will never, ever fathom how people can make comics. Its legitimate high wizardry. Like I thought about initially doing this as a comic but given this singular frame took 20 hours if I ignore the time spent on parts I eventually threw out anyway it probably wouldn't have been done before I was in a nursing home. So consider this a celebration that both Stars Shine Bright and On Borrowed Time are now out of hiatus!

PS: I hate grass. I don't want to individually do every blade justice, screw that noise. But I still haven't found a reasonably effective shortcut I like yet. You can get away with a texture brush and some value layering if you want your grass to be a relatively limited shade which I definitely gotta try, but multi-colored foliage like this just ain't esay I guess. Especially something that can stylistically work with this calvacade of characters.
