Prong Wyverns are fairly common beings in the hills and forests of Zarrond. Standing at nine feet tall, the prong wyvern uses its fearsome tail spines and large talons to take down prey. Males grow large forward facing antlers which they use to fight for females. The more prongs on the antler, the stronger the wyvern. In the winter they grow a thick coat of feathers along the non-plated parts of their body and about half way down the wings.
