Inking Practice Round One by Zalcoti

Inking Practice Round One

Zalcoti

Torble Torble provided the sketches. Critique wanted on inking only. Sketches are for reference.

Things I learned: Thickest outlines first makes inking go by faster and more enjoyable. Erasing constantly to keep consistency is not fun and wastes time.

Yes, I am still doing these. Been working like crazy the past week and finally got around to finishing the first batch. There were originally three but tragically deleted due to SAI not knowing how to properly lock layers.

This is how I used to ink back around 2006. Thick outer edge and thin inner lines. I was honestly going for a "sticker" effect more than going on a nostalgia trip. I have to admit, the nostalgia trip to oekaki board times was fun also.
