I've been in the art business professionally for over 20 years now. Currently I restore the decorative trim-work found in historic buildings. (Plaster-work, tile, terracotta, stonework and ironwork. Cast iron these days usually being replaced by aluminum as it's much easier to cast.) But I've been a sculptor most of my life, going back to when I was taught how to carve wood by my grandfather (who used to do it for his father and grandfather for the family furniture business in Bavaria. Wood, clay, plaster or stone. It's all the same to me.
