My Nuzlocke Team by Zaezar

My Nuzlocke Team

Zaezar

We did a Nuzlocke run in Pokemon Shield over on Twitch for my adventure stream series. The format is when we beat the game, we draw a thing based on our adventure. Well I had thought the Nuzlocke would go like my normal runs. I get to the third gym or so then absolutely die. But this time? This time I got good Pokemon, good luck, and I spent actual time thinking through what I was going to do next. We got all the way to becoming champion. The gold bordered Pokemon are the ones we had alive. The stone ones are the ones that had died somewhere along the line. They to have seen at least a fight!

I'm sad that we lost the only shiny I had ever seen in a game. Right before the championship. Due to a 1-hit KO move hitting turn 1. FFS.

Next game we are going to play is "Ori and the Will of the Wisps." Come on by Monday to see us start that playthrough! www.twitch.tv/zaezar

Kevin the Inteleon (Literally never cared about the life of their opponents)
Brenda the Corviknight (Ol reliable)
Dennis the Boltund (The good boy)
Sandrah the Dusknoir (Could tank a legendary's ultimate attack. And burns them in return)
Erie the Litwick (So much promise. Taken too soon)
Sarah the Wishcash (Taken right after Erie. No time to grieve)
Gordon the Carkol (Made a worthy sacrifice to allow us to beat a gym)
Poppy the Toxicroak (Just before the gym she could destroy handedly, she was taken from a critical)
Autumn the Shiny Sudowoodo (Only shiny I've ever had. She could dish out damage and not care about physical attacks ever)
Barry the Cubchoo (Trained to replace Autumn and enact revenge. But uh, yeah Barry didn't have much a chance)
Sally the Glaceon (Trained to be used to destroy Raihan in the championship game. Then died to her first opponent that she should have been able to SURVIVE THE ONLY ATTACK THAT SHE TOOK)
Dunce the Hippowdon (Had so much HP that they didn't have to worry. Until an unlucky spread of damage in the very final fight took them out)

I'll admit, Corviknight is a really great Pokemon from this generation, too. It's pretty durable against many things (except fire), but the Flying-typing on it prevents the Steel-typing from being OHKO by a hefty Fighting-type using like Close Combat. XD I was glad to get a Gigantamax one from the dens, because it had Mirror Armor and that's fabulous against opponents who like to use stat-reducing things. XD
