In our last adventure stream we beat "SnakePass" a platformer with no jumping. A clever idea, and a REALLY cute look across the board. It had a fantastic start but just felt like frustrating faff by the end. The final few levels breaks a few of the core rules you had developed, like no leap of faiths, no prompts to do things, checkpoints acted differently with no information on that causing you to stress the hell out. This is coupled with the controls not being as precise as a title like this would need and camera controls you have to wrangle. Plus the most egregious error. The bird, your companion, does literally everything. You, the snake, don't have to be there with any logic. BUT the snake is named noodle and I kinda love that.
Join us on Monday where I play a perspective based puzzle title. Why do I do this to myself?
