Steampunk Robofox by Zaezar

Steampunk Robofox

Zaezar

So after a lull in my stream, I flipped through my artcard book and found this http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7953128/ . So I wanted to re-make it! I was even thinking of him as a character while drawing this. I can imagine that it is unaware of the destruction of the world. It was given sentience, but it doesn't take note of the area around him all that much. It spends most of its time wondering around, looking for spare parts to fix itself up. Because of its state of mind, it tends to loose track of time. To the point of thinking something like this "I need to find a new metal rod for my arm. I remember there being one near that building. I think it takes 5, 5, 5 something. 5 minutes sounds right, to get back...". It even has the sense that he isn't a robot at all. But some think that this is because of its age, but maybe the one that built him put that idea in its head. Nonetheless, it spends a large amount of its time making sure that it looks like a fox. It finds tar, charcoal, and even paint to make its limbs black. It even sets a priority on making the snout and ears the right shape. It doesn't seem to think anything of the broken limbs or lack of fur. It appears as though it thinks that is a normal part of life.

Has anyone else noticed that I am making a lot of steampunk like pictures? Not just steampunk, but destroyed and distopian too.
