When I first joined this wonderful furry community, I was very nervous, very scared - unsure what to do, how to act and how to express myself. I had seen other dragons previously, but never had I spoken to one. It was by some luck (or perhaps fate) that one for the first scalies I ran into was Takumori. a humble quadraped dragon. I had seen images of Taku's form before, but being the lurker I was for so long, I had not the courage to request following him. Yet it was he who first opened the way for communication. I was caught initially by surprise, but it was Taku's kindness and nobility, even to a dragon he barely knew, that struck me immediately about him. It took no time for us to become friends as we discussed the community, our mutual interests, art, kinks, and perhaps most of all, being a dragon. If it were not for Taku, I might not have explored as far as I did in the community, as he proves time and time again, what any true dragon should aspire to: a paragon of kindess, respect and humility. I can only hope one day to be even half the dragon he has been for me. Taku, you really, truly are, one of my greatest friends.

Though I know it a bit early, in just a few short hours, it will be this wonderful dragon's 40th hatchday. Though it not much, I though I would try a hand at drawing your true form. Happy birthday my dear friend, and may you have many, many more.
