I did this a few weeks ago but forgot to post it here! Unfortunately I still haven't managed to get decent pictures of it.

I found this Victorian mirror at a thrift store for super cheap. I bought it at first not realizing that it was a mirror and thinking it was just the cool frame, but found out when I got home that it was actually a really old oxidized mirror. If you look closely you can see the "stars" in the background are actually little bits of the original mirror silver showing. The texture of painting on glass is not great (to me, at least), so getting all that detail in there without smudging it was quite a challenge. This is hanging up in my foyer. I live in a duplexed out Victorian house and the entryway is like full on "this looks haunted" dark creepy Victorian aesthetic, so this fits right in.
