About this print: Laika the Soviet space dog was one of the first living creatures to be sent into space. Unfortunately she didn't survive the journey, but her sacrifice helped to pave the way for later human space travel. Here's an imaginary, alternate scenario in which dogs can survive indefinitely in space, and she befriends Canis Major, the dog constellation.
