At first Ten of Swords seems like an entirely negative card. In many ways, it is. It signifies disaster, betrayal, an inescapable and unpleasant end. But it also means that whatever source of pain has caused this disaster will be dealing one final blow before it's over, and then there is the chance for new beginnings. This is the dark night before dawn.
