One day, a solitary figure walks along a lonely path, deep in the fields of Scotland. This figure stands at more than seven feet, wears a massive cloak, and carries a gigantic blade paired with a tower shield. The knight's helm is hardly human; bearing more shape to that of a dragon than anything else.
This is Cenric; The Dragon knight. He lives in a world of magic and chaos- a world where Demons run amok and slay thousands. And he, despite being an exile from humanity, must stand for them against the ever increasing threat of the demons. But, he will not stand alone.
Another exile, a kitsune named Hotaru, happens to meet the lost dragon knight. And from there, a relationship blossoms amidst the war and pain. And that will hold them together through a vicious journey that would take them halfway across the world twice, lead them to meet dozens of unique characters, fight off hundreds- if not thousands- of vicious enemies, and lead hundreds to salvation through many different paths. They will slay tyrants, rule cities, and see the damage a legion of demons can do.
This is a violent journey, and a long one which stretches over nearly twenty years. The odds are against Cenric and Hotaru, the exiles- can they ever survive?
