Polaroid Emulsion Transfer (critique requested)

Yotie

Just a 10minutes video that Kougo filmed and posted for me : )

you can actually see me doing an emulsion separation of a freshly taken picture of Crazypaws during EF18 : )

I was doing those , along with manipulated emulsion while still developping

hope you like!

0: Take the picture and order a big glass of coke

1: Cutting all around the freshly taken Polaroid, and peel of the negative (black side)

2: Putting the positive in around 40°C/100°F water to let the chemistry distach from the positive

3: once the positive is transparent with no developing agents on it, put it in cold water with the transparent "window"

4: stick both on -any- surface (here a canvas) and peel apart the transparent window, leaving the positive stuck.

5: -extremely carefully- manipulate the positive, which is as frail as a wet tissue:)

McLuhan would be proud. "The medium being massaged is the message". :3

Those emulsions hold together surprisingly well.
