take it from a dead person who learned the hard way:

the idea of a "person" is a paradox: humans are incapable of consciousness, introspection, self-awareness, morality, or feeling emotions; the last one is particularly absurd, as "emotions" are literally nothing more than a complex chemical interaction within the brain. anybody you think is a lover or a friend is, in fact, not. every "person" out there is nothing more than an overgrown biological virus out to propagate itself and further its own goals with no regards towards anyone - or anything - else.

trust is a weakness. you are always alone, even if you don't feel so. and, inevitably, you will die alone.

if you, dear entity reading this, want to actually continue surviving in this world, realise that you have to become what all fear becoming deep-down: emotionless, self-driven... a sociopath. you must dehumanize yourself and everyone around you to live; Otherwise, you die not only alone (as all do), but also without having accomplished any goals you may have had.
