so I get a text out of the blue saying "Red tailed hawk griffin vs eastern diamondback dragon.... just saying" from a friend.

I pause for a moment, wonder what the heck was that about and then I start seeing it in my head and I am over come with the awesomeness of it all.

Changed it a little bit - wanted it to be Sonoran desert native so all species from here.
Griff - Red tail, bob cat and ring tail cat
Dragon - Ridge nose rattler, slight influences of black and black tailed as well

You can see how I flush out characters now. the dragons flippin cute...

Just have to decide on composition now... thinking of having cathedral rock (http://www.wildsedona.com/trails/cathedral.htm) as a back drop, want something closer to earth then the last one - maybe using cliffs or what not.... expect those sketches next
