"Oh, how sweetly the sap flows!"

Get it? xD Finally, something that is not commission related~

A fanart I made of my favorite character on DotA2, Nature's Prophet. The sunglasses weren't added until the very last moment. It was just for gags, but it turned out that he looks good in them. Yes, I play DotA sometimes. Because I'm always so busy, I cannot afford to play long RPG games.

I'm adding more non-furry artworks into my portfolio so if anybody would want to order a non-furry (human) fantasy themed illustration commission, you'd make me very happy. I really enjoy drawing fantasy characters~

With the sunglasses.

You've marked this for critique so here's my two cents:
I feel like this would pop a lot more with some stronger drop shadows. Especially when you have a light source that's close to the character and supposed to give off a strong, dramatic light, like the coin here. Actually, when I look through your other submissions, this seems like something all your art could benefit from. Don't be afraid to up the contrast!
Anyway, on this particular drawing the chest and shoulder armor looks good - There are strong, dark shadows under the leaves and on the edges of the armor. However, on the hand and face the shadows are rather soft. If you added some drop shadows - e.g. from his head and beard onto the body, from the head and ears onto the horns, and from the fingers onto the rest of the hand - it would really help to establish the light source and make the whole piece just that little bit more dramatic.

Otherwise this looks great - Strong composition and neat colours!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a critique on my artwork. I appreciate it so much. I'll try to keep that in mind on my next piece :D
