Style: (Clothing, body decorations, Jewellery) Barely any clothing, some decorative tattoos to either identify their person to Ostras of other lakes/rivers or to tell their greatest achievements. Jewellery consists mostly of rings and only leaders wear necklaces. For outside their territories they have simple clothing with decorations based on their tattoos
Behaviour: Living in an Island tribe style, they spread out in migration waves to find new rivers and lakes to “colonize”. Those lakes and Rivers were called Ostra Lakes and Rivers. Their society is structured by a chief and a few high-ranking families while the rest are considered the common people.
Ostras only breed for mateship and females prefer partners from outside their tribe for diversity of blood. A mateship between an outside and a female usually remains for a decade, when the child is considered adult. Due investment of commitment and more often than not having more than one offspring, the majority of mateships last for life. It isn’t unheard off that Ostras try to court the other sex of different species, thought male Ostras tend to be less successful with females of other species but higher success rates with same sex relationships.
Regarding same sex relationships, Ostras are considered somewhat open minded but expectations are that offspring are somehow produced and raised. It’s often witnessed that two pairs of homosexual lovers of different genders entered a pseudo-mateship of to produce and raise children while staying true in their personal sexual nature.
The average lifespan of Ostras consist of 50 years.
Their religion consists of nature gods and half gods consisting of different elements. Preying to them on shrines made of said elements or representatives of them.
Speciality: Experts for fishing in lakes and rivers, followed by sailing for good transports on the same
