Say hello to the Daymare, a fairly unique adoptable. I searched high and low for a unique creature that didn't exist or so rarely existed that would lead it to be at least very rare. I found it in this mythology.
Like Nightmares that give you bad dreams at night, she will give you bad ones during the day time. She can also give waking hallucinations. The gold on her body is a holy seal against the growing taint that's spreading throughout her, inhibiting her from using her powers on the masses.
She is also sporting the sugar skull markings and the marigold on her back for the flower of the dead from Día de los Muertos. As she lets her victims suffer in their worst nightmares and hallucinations, she consumes their souls, leaving their bodies dead.
