q: does anybody actually use weasyl
debating dumping most of my back catalog on here (the stuff that's not ~forbidden by the TOS~ at least) but also it kinda seems like a ghost town here and i don't really need yet another artsite account to manage

Yah. It's a lot of work to type out a bunch of stuff again, especially since Weasyl uses m ar k do w nnnnnnnn
markdown is just blah. I dont like it. bbcode doesnt work and Im like sigh. cant just copypaste.-
oh i actually... write all my stuff in markdown... (and then usually run some formatting magic steps to convert it to html or bbcode or w/e). evidently sofurry switched to markdown for like a week before the number of complaints overwhelmed them. lots of "now i can't *hugs* people it just comes out as hugs!" i guess
but i was thinking more like, the part where i post things and get "mmm hot" comments and like, asking for more knotting or w/e. people trying to be peppy and upbeat @ me. INTERACTING WITH PEOPLE, THE WORST POSSIBLE THING!!

Im used to bbcode so all the changes were like: Uh.. Why can't someone design it to use both lol............
As for interacting. idk. Im ok with it... but then again I used to do it.. a lot.. typefucking and such. so it's nbd for the most part until people start making it actually personal and overstepping boundaries.
