A tian lu, the male version (with one antler) of a pixiu, a type of mythological creature. A lion with wings and antlers. They hoard, eat, find gold, silver and other precious items, as from the myths. Thus, considered a good luck omen to depict in places.
Planning to eventually printed with a foil overlay and sold as prints on my etsy store. 36 of the coins will be shinier in the gold foil. 36, divisible by 3, 6, and 9, are considered lucky in Chinese culture.
