A test of my new printer :3 finally have a result worth posting eheh. This is a print of the bust I posted yesterday standing 60mm with 0.1mm layers. Lighting sucks atm since I didn't want to break out my good camera. Some problems I ran into were support material collapse around the jaw, it was enough to build the muzzle still but the muzzle will need extra love to get the intended look. Also some of the layers didn't slice right and caused issues on the base. On the whole this is the best print I've had off this thing so far lots of learning and tomorrow I'm going to attempt a 90mm version again after some tweaks a friend recommend :3

It's been fun to print with so far but yah @_@ been trying to get one since the makerbot replicator hit the market awhile back, picked it up with my tax return this year :3

This is great, I've been wanting to tinker with 3D printing and the idea of printing a fursona had crossed my mind. Best of luck with it, plastic deposition is a fickle beast from what I've read but the definition looks really good.

That's pretty neat! :D I've always wanted to play with a 3D printer but darn things are pretty expensive.
