Casual Science

She looked out the gas giant the old research vessel was orbiting with a soft smile. Never did she think she would get a view like this in her entire life. But here she was, watching the glittering stars from the comfort of the observatory deck with one of the giant's moons in her peripheral. But the peeping of her portal holo-viewer drew her attention back to the samples that were done. A few vials and one beaker, all full of vibrant colors that indicated the much favored results. On one screen showed all the data gather so far, the other held the results for some flora samples she put into the lab's scanner the night before.

Every single data point, every test, it only drove her forward. With the hope that she would not get arrested upon her trip back home once all she was satisfied with all the data and research she gathered.

I loved the background for this so much I have it saved as a separate file XD So have Dani with some solitary science time, of which she hauled all her simpler and non-lethal testing equipment up to the observation deck of her ship. Simply to have the stunning view while she worked.
