Raul’s character pretty much came about because I drew an idea for a Demonian airship pilot, and thought “yeah, I want that guy to be in the story.”
While Raul does have the honor of leading a squadron, he is primarily a magineer and inventor, whose contributions to the development of military airship technology resulted in him being rewarded with the prominent position aboard the flagship: Queen Lucifian.
