This was a special commission I was happy to complete earlier this year! A friend of mine's mom had a cat that was diagnosed with FiP (feline infectious peritonitis). I had never heard of the disease before she approached me, but long story short it's considered fatal by vets if your cat gets it in the US. (Also it's caused by a coronavirus, how... appropriate)

Anyway, there ARE medicines to treat this disease, but because they're not approved by the FDA most cats who get the progressive form in the US are SoL. This commissioner, however, managed to get her hands on the aforementioned medicine, and after a few months... kitty recovered with no issues. Yay!

Anyway, this piece was done to help raise awareness of the disease and the fact that there IS a way to treat it. Gypsy here is being a kitty warrior for all her fellow FiP sufferers and survivors.
