Elaborate Painterly for M.W.!

A fun sci-fi scene of M.W.'s original species in a hot spaceship battle! I'm rooting for the alien, duh.  This was a lot of fun to render.  A cookie to whoever gets the name reference :P

I'm especially happy with how the background corridor turned out; the shading happened 80% on accident while I was playing with some textures and layer settings.  That's how I find most of my new techniques by the way, "happy accidents."  xD
