Finally had a little time to work on Elancia Chronicles between all the other craziness going on around here this month. I'll be a very busy bee well into march, but hopefully things will return to normal after that! Anyway, here's a little about this song...
"I'd been through there eight or ten times with dad when I was just a kid. It wasn't the type of place to change very much. Aetrasu is an artist's town, I guess you could say. Cherry trees are everywhere. Rock gardens, plant gardens, little tiny trees you can pick up and hold... lots of paintings and such. The place is admired for its beauty, I guess. Don't get me wrong -- it's absolutely gorgeous, even in the dead of summer, but it always felt like a stop on the road to me.
It's crammed into a little canyon where the silver traderoute and the railroad both follow the river north of the dam. It's one of the few places where the saloons don't often get rowdy, and the card games are honest. I don't think anyone here has ever seen a revolver outside of its holster.
It still smells exactly like it used to, even... If I close my eyes, I'm a kid again, just as happy as I can be to traveling with my dad."

This is very nice. It definitely is a good theme for a town or low level area. 1:16-1:40 is my favorite section as it quite distinctive and carries the Asian music theme well.
