Spoiler: At some point, the party fights the organization that the game is ominously part-named after. Who knew that would happen, right!?!?

Anyway, this theme and the calmer non-combat version are both rooted in jazz music to an extent. Like with Funk, I think it's an unappreciated genre when it comes to the emotional range it can represent. Given, this is far from being 'true' jazz, and is more akin to fusion, and with all the other influences (from Jungle to Rock) the song is a huge mish-mash of all sorts of fun things... still, I felt it was good for an ominous battle theme. :D It was one of the more fun themes to work with.
