Festival of Storms

Woofle

Once a year, the small town of Chrsairau (home to Karina, one of the group's members) in the Kerlynzian Empire is transformed into a colorful festival, celebrating tales of an ancient god who brought rain to the empire, and allowed crops to grow, and towns to flourish. Although such gods are said to have never existed, and for the most part, anything resembling those is referred to in this day and age as a demon, it is curious that a huge rain storm sweeps the southern half of the empire after each festival...

Ahh.. was a little weird to play Diablo 3 while listening to this, but it was pretty foot tapping good. There was a nice breakdown a bit before the 3 minute part, I like that. Good stuff, as always.

Oh god, that had to be disconcerting as hell. xD!!! "Oh hey, fightin' monsters in a dark place ... to... Asiatic Party Anthem 2014..!?" That breakdown ended up being my favorite part, too. The synths on one side, and the guitars on the other. It worked out better than I'd expected! :D Glad you liked it!

It's rather good! I think it captures a lot of the chaotic, joyful fun at such events. :3

It's rather interesting how such things continue, despite founding lore 'n old wives' tales being left behind or forgotten. A lot of old ceremony and festivities are based around much darker events, especially when it comes to old religion.

      It's a party! In a song! That is also a party! x3

Yeah, that's one thing that's always made me really curious -- like... How did we end up celebrating some of these things? O.o; In the writing of the story behind all this music, I got to explore that a little, as was the case here. A lot of time, these sorts of celebrations have absolutely nothing to do with what started them, it seems, other than light sprinklings...

Oh I really love the groove of this. This such a mellow but upbeat and enjoyable atmosphere.
