In light of one of Fur Affinity's recent policies, I thought I'd try my hand at migrating back here. It would be ideal if I could make Weasyl my new home, but let's be real, this site is kind of a ghost town compared to other communities I've been active in. Not to mention I haven't been active here since 2016. Being back here is the online equivalent of a liminal space. I see profiles of people I use to be acquainted with, people I haven't so much as spoken to in years. It seems that they too jumped ship from this place when it became clear that other platforms are just more lucrative. Still, it is oddly nostalgic being back here. It's almost like being back in the mid 2010's. Sadly, I had to purge my gallery before posting here again. A lot of the art I got rid of involved characters and events that only bring me sadness now. But this is today! I'd like to reintroduce myself to this space in a way that feels like a fresh new start. It'll take some time, but I can try.
