This is Maisie! Or up until recently her name was Shaggy. I decided to change her name because I didn't really like the old one. She was also given a little bit of a redesign! I want her to have cottagecore vibes to her. I decided to give her a breed too, so she's a cocker spaniel!
Maisie has been an oc of mine for quite some time. Been around since 2012 so she's one of the first! She was actually an adoptable I got on YouTube of all places (remember video responses?)

Thank you! It is nice when older characters are still in use :3. Most of my characters are actually fairly old! I call those ones the OGs lol.
That's awesome that you've had them for a while! It is interesting to look back and realise how far ocs have come since then :D. I don't redesign mine much either. Though I've been redesigning older ones so they are more interesting and suit my current design interests. Otherwise I leave them as is XP
I would love to see you draw Chi more! She is very cute after all :3. The wings would be adorable too!

yeah ^w^ i like it too! sometimes it's alot better than sticking with what you've got and not constantly replace your characters alot and not constantly redesign unless really necessary :3 what's ogs? :o
yeah same here, i only redesign if i feel something doesn't look good or if that part of the design is too hard to draw. or if i originally adopted the character from someone i don't like then i'll completely change their design into my own so i don't have to be reminded of that toxic person. with other adopts i get such as Zerda, you may notice me make slight adjustments to the design to fit my liking while still keeping its original look :3 you may notice this on toyhouse too! i'm also happy i developed her personality a bit :3 i've still to give her some artwork mind you

I think it's fine to redesign them if that's the case. And yeah I've seen Zerda from Toyhouse! That's great that you were able to develop her personality a bit ^w^-

yea with adopted designs from friends and strangers, i still like to keep that original look aswell as change or add something that fits my liking a bit more :3 but any adopts from people who decide to fall out with me afterwards, i prefer to give it a complete revamp so that it doesn't have to remind me of the original.. UwU

Cody and Max i've had since 2017, they've had a few changes here and there but they have been my main characters since the beginning :D and since day 1 when I first started getting into making ocs too! i think they started out as mii characters before, and Zack came later in the year while Lavender came early next year. the neko trio originally came from miis to hoomans to kemonomimis that have the ability to fully turn into that animal they have the ears and tails of :3 it's amazing how far my characters have come, not just designwise but personalitywise too! i don't plan on changing them anytime soon tho, maybe new outfits and stuff but that'll be about it UwU I try to avoid redesigns so i don't confuse or annoy the fanartists or even myself. it's like you do alot of art for an old design only to be redesigned with a new look with no art.. XwX
I think Chi was alot older than all my other ocs too cos the earliest i made her was liike..2014 i think? she was originally just a profile pic for youtube and stuff but then also became "me as a dog", and then when i found out that i was a furry then she later on became known as a fursona :3 Chi hasn't changed a bit! i did improved my artstyle over the years so she looked a little different at times, but she's still the same as ever :3 though i plan on giving her cute adorable angel wings that may sometimes appear every now and then. i gotta draw her more, especially since my art has improved
