Bit of character development, since a number of folks have very kindly expressed interest in this big bird:

Introducing Peregrine Roland Featherstone... yeah. He hates the name too. Over-aspirational/romantic parents. And this is the little episode that led to him preferring that his mates call him 'Spruce'. They're a good bunch, but they do tend to forget and come up with their own nicknames for him- most centring round the idea of 'big', for some reason.

I guess this makes a fairly good reference for him in profile- the weight distribution is about right though I always find getting the pigeon head-shape nailed difficult. I've drawn him suited and booted a fair bit, but it's far more usual to find him in a casual shirt and some check shorts- or, increasingly, eee-zee fit sweatpants.
