Clothes slightly-too-small for a king

Wolfgonewide

"Hey mate! Enjoying the all-you-can-eat banquet?"
"Oof... haha, you bet! URRP!"
"I gotta hand it to you, you can really pull that look off- you've got PRESENCE. Want another pizza, 'your majesty'?"
"Ehe... actually, th-this gear's feeling kinda snug under the arms-"
"C'mon! It's YOUR party, mate! Set an example! If the KING can't indulge himself a little, who can? Besides, we've got to keep that 'royal' figure of yours up, right, ya big peacock?"
"Hehehe... aww, mate... h-heck, sure thing, I'd LOVE more pizza! ~Hic!~"

"~Snrk~ We are soooo not getting our deposit back on that costume..."

Inspired by some really good examples lately (here and here) that made me want to try my hand at some more elaborate costumes on a fuller-figured character. I didn't have a regal peacock to hand, but I had the next-best thing.

Costume inspired by some hurried research into tudor/Elizabethan fashions via google, particularly a portrait of Henry the 8th. A few little details were my whimsical own. Hopefully I've not ruined this trope for anyone. Enjoy!
