I don't know about you, but I'm starting to get a little bit annoyed with all the hype surrounding the upcoming Zootopia film, which whilst I agree is looking very high production quality, it's also looking extremely Disney. This is something of a reaction to that hype- set in the Zootopia universe, but one where the movie (in their terms, based on real events) has been released already. Because of the emphasis on the police in the upcoming movie, I've thrown in more than a generous dash of Dexter to liven things up in my own special way. Take THAT, happy-happy land.

The characters in this story of course (C) Disney, and this is entirely unofficial an non-canon, etc. This isn't the start of anything, it was just written as a bit of mindless fun over a couple of evenings, and to free brain space up to focus on other projects again. Please don't expect perfect polish, but hope you have fun reading it regardless.
