A picture I took for a friend. They did not understand why brushing things with long fur like a tail was all that important.
Basically, if your tail or anything with long hairs like fur looks like the image on the left, it would be best you don't go wearing it with it looking like that. It looks bad and makes you look bad :V. Like you do not take care of your things even if you do. A quick brushing made the tail look pretty again as seen on the right. =D

You are right, I use a basic comb, it takes little hair out if I work delicately. I think now saying "brush" is bad choice of words. Although a wire hair brush has done good for me too.

What kind of brush do you recommend? If you accidentally pull some hairs out, those hairs ain't coming back.
