Oh, I love old portrait style! They make everything more mysterious and nostalgic. Especially when there are animal creatures in it. The oldness of the style makes you think this could be the last portrait of an extinct being.
The face turned out really good, it looks very alive and feline. I like the thinking expression. :)
My only little crit is that the frame looks a bit too sharp in detail compared to the midly blurry photo. It could harmonize a bit better, but that's just a knit-pick.
